Networking your way to Success

November 6th @ 1pm

This course will teach the techniques for getting things done quickly and easily by using your mind and resources. Making connections is extremely important, learn how to improve your effectiveness by increasing and optimizing the value of each encounter. Tap into the ideas, information, knowledge, and expertise of others, particularly those in your own organization!

Communication Skills Needed for Effective Feedback

November 13th @ 1pm

Receiving informal and formal feedback is amazing, it can be structured to provide effective and lasting impacts on your work. This session will help participants learn why the way we deliver feedback is important, how to deliver a message so that people can accept it, and how to accept offered feedback in return.

Presenter: Cynthia D. Dunn currently serves as the Director, for Equity, Diversion, and Inclusion, Tax Exempt and Government Entities, within the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Cynthia has held this position in Washington, DC since 2004. She started her federal government career in 1980 as a GS-01 Clerk Typist under the Stay-in-School Program. She began her career in the field of Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity in 1992. In addition to her multiple years in the federal government, her hard work and dedication has given her the opportunity to present and provide resourceful information for those who are looking for guidance in their careers. Cynthia has conducted training sessions since 2004.
