While many of our members are veterans, many also have family members currently serving in the armed forces. Some of our members are still currently serving in the reserves or national guard.
Armed Forces Day is celebrated this year on Saturday, May 18th. Unlike Memorial Day, which honors our fallen comrades, and Veteran’s Day, which honors those that previously served; Armed Forces Day is a time to pay tribute to those currently serving.
Please take a moment to think about all of those currently serving in the armed forces.
